Sharon's Approach

Sharon’s approach is that of caring, confidentiality and professionalism.

“I believe that we all have enormous healing resources within us, but sometimes could do with some support to tap into and develop these resources. Especially when in crisis”. – Sharon

What we focus on in psychotherapy:

  1. She explores what your needs and priorities are.
  2. Then teaches you to understand and cope with current life challenges; at other times, to heal certain past wounds and experiences.
  3. Trains you to strengthen your inner resources.
  4. Helps you find perspective.
  5. Helps you get onto your “right” track.
  6. Trains you to prevent emotional and psychological wounds and confusions from happening in the future, where possible.
  7. Helps you learn to tolerate and endure, and to hold yourself together – when in difficult circumstances that do not have a quick ending in sight.
  8. Encourages you to find neutral but caring support for a period of time until you can find your feet again.

“I am not a believer in false promises or a quick fix.” - Sharon
